What would be the best way to recruit artists and crafters to participate in an local consignment store?
I currently own a very successful little store that represents close to a hundred local artists and crafters. I was able to establish this business based on existing relationships in my home town. I am considering a move to Denver and would love to open a similar store there. I’m just not sure how to go about finding the artists in Denver.

My husband and I are going to be involved with a home based business. Although we haven’t finalized anything yet but we are trying to get some ideas for free advertising/marketing ideas. Also we have been checking out free classified ad websites. There are so many so we are wandering which ones work the best. Also if you operate a home based business please give us some ideas for marketing/advertising that works the best for you so we can get some ideas.

There are no grants for a for profit business unless you are opening a daycare. If you need money, you will need to apply for a loan. No lender will talk to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for sample business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan.
Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Sometimes I don’t get it Yahoo!?
I respect the anti spamming and solicitation instructions of these forums.
I made an answer a few days ago SUGGESTING a certain service of which I’m NOT officially an affiliate and they removed my answer.
I see people on this forum all the time openly posting their affiliate links telling people about how much money they’re making through these programs. I have NEVER asked anyone to join me in business through Yahoo! Answers.
I really don’t get it.
I suggested a company name that coaches people in network marketing because it has helped me personally yet they remove it. People have suggested things like cashcrate and different survey programs that pay you and they’ve used their affiliate links (which i did NOT do) to RECRUIT people to join them in business.
What should I do to get this sort of immunity?
I”m here to build relationships and share knowledge as well as gain info from time to time. I do home based business and I do my best to avoid recruitment attempts in this way.

The violations / abuse are done by the people on this site, not by Yahoo. If someone sees the link / suggestion, they may report it. Some people report a lot, others not at all. It just depends on who sees what and what mood they are in, sorry! The others DO get reported and removed, but often just repost so quickly that people can’t keep up with the reporting all the time.

Which tax forms do we file?
As a partnership home–based business with no employees. We share profits 50/50. Also, how often are we to file taxes? Is it best to get an accountant or is it ok to do on our own?

You would file Form 1065
You file the 1065 once a year
You produce a from 1065 K-1 which you use to prepare your individual 1040.
You can try to do it on your own. You need to record income and expenses. You should pick up a version of Quickbooks Pro
