Buying a home in San Diego?

We have been offered the opportunity to go in on a home purchase.
Here is the tricky part, our best friends are willing to put the down on the home & we will be the signers. We will live there, pay the mortgage, make some improvements & then when the time comes, sell the house. So their offer is based on making a profit in the end.
We have rented for 14 years & figure we will be doing the same here though unsure on how to approach the whole ‘share the profit’ outcome.
My husband feels we should not do this cuz mixing business with friend/family is never a good decision but what do you think?
We should in the long run be co owners & share in the profit based on what type of improvements are done and if those profits should be 60/40% or what do you believe is fair/correct?

Accounting software for small business?

Which accounting software is best to use for a small business which can track inventory and also automatically create custome invoices based on orders input. Right now we track orders and create invoices in Excel and track our financials with Quicken Home & Small Business. But it would be better if we could automate some of the process and not spend as much time manually updating items.

because you care about your country and believe in the rule of law you think that the “only solution to illegal immigration is either deport ALL 12 million illegals or CUT ALL public services so they ALL self deport”….but you know neither is realistically possible.and as a result your”only solution “will not happen and the goals you’re seeking will not be achieved…
.It’s more intelligent to change the reasoning a bit and that will serve the best of your goals as an anti immigrant who wants to reduce to the minimum possible any negative consequences related to the existence of 12 million illegals in the US.
Let’s be logic ..you are anti illegal immigrant for legitimate reasons that you often don’t declare,including many of the following:the facts that many(not all)illegal immigrants have entered illegally,or don’t have a proven ID to make sure of their background,or are little or not educated,or have no promising potential,or are unready or unable to adapt,or are unwilling or unable to learn or speak english,or engage in substandard ways of living or social habits,or tend for whatever reasons to get into unplanned marriages and poorly planned births ,or overburden the public services,and many other tendencies related to stress,selfishness,low self esteem,indifference,instability,low education,culture etc.
All these problems that frustrate you will not go away nor decrease if people ignore the whole issue or insist only on extreme ideal “solutions”that everybody knows will not happen..(everybody says it’s inapplicable to deport 12 millions…and by the time you succeed in cutting ALL services to push them to self deport,they are already 14 millions,isn’t that counter productive?)
THE BEST SOLUTION :>support a SELECTIVE immigration reform by cathegory based on a veriety relevant criteria to classify immigrants individually according to what they are and how they behaved and how close they are to the good standards,and treat them accordingly;for example :exclude all criminals,implement stiffer punitive measures and burdens and fines and compulsory programs(community service,orclasses,or 1 year waiting out of the US..)to the following categories:those who entered illegally,or don’t have any provable ID,or lived in the US for less than 3 years ,or married an illegal alien ,or have children with an illegal alien ,or overused public services,or have low education,or fail english test,or can’t prove any meaningful skill or talent,or have a history of delinquencies,or drive without licence…On the other hand support a lenient treatment and an easier path for those undocumented immigrants with better points of merit or clearly did an effort to remain closer to good standards ,that includes those who at least entered legally,or are able to prove their identity,have some good educational level,or pass an english test,or have some meaningful skill and potential,or avoided to marry or have children with an illegal alien,or generally remained mindful of good social standards while living in the US.

ON THE ECONOMIC LEVEL such a solution will allow a financial mobility in spending,shopping,travel,by easing the stress and reclusive habits that push many immigrants to avoid spending,keep jobs for long periods,and avoid travel.
BESIDES a significant number of illegal immigrants will travel home for some period to visit or take a break or under a mandatory punitive law for certain categories with the lowest criteria….this will stimulate the travel business and vacate many jobs and relax the work behavior of many illegal immigrants who often maintain jobs even under the harshest exploitation..
LAST: this social relaxation has the potential of cutting many negative behaviors and habits like unplanned marriages and multiple births and abuse of social benefits and rent cramming by making the individual less stressed and consequently more ready to spend,learn ,respect the standards and avoid desperate thinking that results in anarchic habits(like the rush to randominter illegal marriages and multiple children that end up as poor babies supported by society,or the danger of driving without license,or living in crowded rentals ..or the anonymity of dangerous law breakers.)

Best way to advertise my business?

I currently work in IT, and have done for a good few years. I have a part time (At the moment) Company, we design, supply and install Professional Home Cinema Systems. Home Cinema’s have been a passion of mine for many many years, and I am happy to say I know more then most claiming professionals, and my team and I have a specific care for detail with everything we do. Prices ranging from £10,000 so at the higher end of the market.

I will be made redundant in the 31st March and instead of getting another job I would prefer to be able to just stay my own boss and go full-time with my company. So I want to push advertising, I was thinking of designing a nice A5 flyer and getting around 5 thousand printed, delivered to the wealthier area’s around were we are based.

I really like the idea of a clever Ad. But at the moment I have to save a lot of money because of the redundancy. So something also cheap… Let me know your thoughts and idea’s and will be good to see what you say.
